Warranty & Repair

Users who purchase the product through the official crowdfunding platform, official website or authorised dealers are entitled to the warranty service under this clause. Users purchasing from unauthorised third parties are not entitled to the warranty service under this clause.

Warranty Period

ROBOFINITY TECHNOLOGY LIMITED (‘Robofinity’) warrants to the first time purchaser that Robofinity branded products will be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use for a period of 1 year from the date of receipt. Repairs will be provided free of charge for malfunctions or damages not caused by human error during normal use during the warranty period. (If you reside in the European Economic Community (EEA) and purchased our product from the EEA, the warranty period is 2 years from the date of purchase).

In the event of a hardware defect and a valid claim is received within the warranty period, the options will be to (1) repair the product free of charge with new or refurbished spare parts or (2) replace the product with a new or refurbished product. The replacement Product or part is covered for the remainder of the original Product’s warranty period or 60 days from the date of replacement or repair, whichever is longer for you. When a Product or part is replaced, any replaced Product becomes your property and the replaced Product becomes the property of Robofinity.

Non-warranty coverage

  1. Exceeding the 1-year warranty period;
  2. No warranty card; altered or forged warranty card;
  3. Equipment information does not match the warranty card;
  4. Consumables and accessories;
  5. Failure or damage caused by failure to use and store the equipment in accordance with the requirements of the user manual;
  6. malfunction or damage caused by forced use of the equipment under abnormal conditions of use;
  7. Failure or damage caused by unauthorised disassembly, repair or modification;
  8. Failure or damage caused by force majeure factors;
  9. Failure or damage caused by other non-product design, manufacturing and quality problems.

Warranty instructions

  1. Users are required to contact customer service (via service@bestcarthermalcamera.com) before obtaining after-sales service. If it is confirmed that the product needs to be sent back for testing, please send the product within 7 calendar days and inform customer service of the relevant courier information. If the user does not inform the customer service staff in advance, we will refuse to sign for it.
  2. Please backup your data before sending the product back to Robofinity as it may cause data loss during the repair process.
  3. We receive the user to send back the product, the problem will be detected and determine the responsibility. If the product is covered by the free warranty, we will be responsible for the repair and shipping costs; if the product is not covered by the free warranty, the user may choose to return the product or pay for the repair. We will charge the appropriate repair and shipping costs according to the specific problem.
  4. Users need to prepay the shipping fee, which will be charged in accordance with the principle of the party at fault.
  5. The user shall bear the costs of wrong address, extra courier fee, labour fee, lost courier, etc.
